What is Mozrank? MozRank is a scoring system of how popular any given link might be, and thus how important that website might be. Pages earn MozRank points by the number and quality of other pages that link to them.
The higher the quality of the incoming links, the higher the MozRank. In other words, getting linked from a dozen only semi-popular pages might increase your MozRank about the same as getting linked from just a few more popular pages.
The scoring system itself is on a scale of 0.00 to 9.99. However, this scale is logarithmic, meaning it takes much more to get from, say, a seven to an eight that it takes to get from a two to a three.
An average MozRank of what most people think of as a normal page - that is, normal pages which aren't one of the big internet rulers like Facebook - on the Internet is around 3. In comparison, now, Facebook has a MozRank of 8.15 and YouTube has a MozRank of 7.75
